The Kuota KHAN frame is crafted using a one-piece moulding technique, ensuring there are no bonded joints at the seat-stay or chain-stay. PRODUCT DETAILS

  • ONE-PIECE MOULDING CONSTRUCTION

    Our frames are constructed utilising one-piece moulding technology, where the front and rear triangles are seamlessly manufactured as a single unit in one mould. This design offers significant advantages over traditional bonded front and rear triangle structures, including increased torsional strength and reduced weight. The use of continuous carbon fibre from the front triangle to the seat-stays and chain-stays eliminates breakpoints, ensuring superior durability whilst unlocking and high-performance capability.


  • CLEAR COATING DESIGN

    The Kuota K-A1 frame is crafted using our one-piece molding technique, eliminating bonded joints at the seat-stays and chain-stays. This innovative construction allows Kuota to confidently apply clear coat paint over large areas of the frame, showcasing the raw elegance of the carbon fibre.


  • FSA INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING

    Our road frames are equipped with the FSA ACR  cable routing system, an exclusive feature developed by FSA and VISION. This system combines FSA’s expertise in headset and cockpit design with its extensive experience in aerodynamic development and engineering. The result is a sleek, integrated, and highly aerodynamic cable routing solution tailored specifically for the frame.


  • TITANIUM BOLTS

    We incorporate a significant number of titanium bolts in our road frames, crafted from Titanium Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V). These bolts surpass stainless steel and most high-grade carbon steel bolts in performance, offering exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and lightweight properties.


  • T47 BOTTOM BRACKET STANDARD

    Our Frames are designed and equipped with the latest T47 bottom brackets which are compatible with crank spindles measuring 30mm, 29mm, and 24mm in diameter. This robust interface has proven to be reliable, effective whilst eliminating unwanted creaks associated with press-fit bottom brackets. The oversized T47 bottom bracket design provides a larger surface area at the critical frame junction, ensuring a balance of light weight and stiffness. Its threaded construction simplifies installation and maintenance with the use of standard T47 bottom bracket tools.


  • UCI APPROVED

    The Kuota K-A1 frame has received UCI approval, meeting all the technical regulations required by the organisation. It is officially listed in the UCI’s database of approved frames, this certification ensures that the K-A1 is eligible for use in all of their sanctioned races.
